Call for Papers
Special Session: Pro – Aging & LOHAS: Financial Markets
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), between 2015 and 2050, the proportion of the world's population over 60 years will nearly double from 12% to 22%.
On one hand, an increasing aging population will pose significant economic concerns to the society, including lower economic growth, higher health care and pension costs and high public debt burden. On the other hands, diverse industries have seen the opportunities in silver economy, helping the ageing population plan for their leisure, wealth and health needs. Meanwhile, LOHAS consumers, a population focusing on human rights, fair trade, the environment, sustainable practices and personal development has arrived. Billions of financial outputs from LOHAS products and services have been created.
The BREFM organizing committee is now calling for abstracts and full papers to be presented at 2020 International Conference on Business, Economics, Finance and Management. Papers describing original work are invited in any of the areas listed below:
