The 7th International Conference on Business, Economics, Finance and Management will be held in Taipei, Taiwan from May 18 - 20, 2025. The theme of this conference is "AI for Impact: The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Social Innovation." BREFM brings together researchers, scholars, and practitioners from around the world to discuss and exchange ideas on various topics related to business, economics, finance, and management. This year, the conference's main theme is "AI FOR IMPACT".
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming various sectors, from healthcare and education to environmental sustainability and economic development. Its potential to drive social innovation is profound, offering new tools and methods to address complex social challenges. AI can enhance decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and improve service delivery, thereby contributing to more equitable and sustainable outcomes.
In the realm of social innovation, AI has the power to revolutionize how we approach problems such as poverty, inequality, and access to basic services. By leveraging large datasets and advanced algorithms, AI systems can identify patterns and insights that were previously inaccessible, enabling more targeted and effective interventions. For instance, AI-driven platforms can help identify underserved populations, predict the outcomes of policy interventions, and personalize educational content to meet diverse learning needs.
However, the deployment of AI in social innovation also raises critical ethical considerations. Issues related to data privacy, algorithmic bias, and the digital divide must be carefully managed to ensure that AI technologies benefit all segments of society. Moreover, collaboration between technologists, policymakers, and social entrepreneurs is essential to align AI development with broader social goals.
In conclusion, AI holds significant promise as a catalyst for social innovation, but its application must be guided by principles of fairness, transparency, and inclusivity. As we continue to explore the potential of AI, it is crucial to prioritize human-centered approaches that empower communities and promote social equity.
The conference will feature keynote speeches, oral sessions, and poster sessions by experts in the fields of education, psychology, AI and social sciences. Presentations will cover a broad range of topics, including geography of AI in social innovation, AI across impact domains, most leveraged AI capabilities, the role of gender in AI for social innovation, the AI ecosystem for social innovation, barriers for adopting AI for social innovation, and benefits of AI in social innovation.
The conference will also provide opportunities for networking and collaboration, as well as the chance to explore the beautiful city of Taipei, with its rich history and cultural heritage.
